Hands down the Best keyboard I've ever used!
Unlike other ergonomic keyboards, X-Bows uses premium Gateron Brown mechanical switches. Tactile feedback gives you improved control over your typing and it's way more fun!
There is some learning period required to get used to the X-Bows layout. You need to unlearn bad typing habits and retrain some muscle memory.
Most of our users report being back to their original typing speed within one week. They rave about their new found typing comfort after getting adjusted to the layout.
X-Bows Lite Ergonomic Mechanical Keyboard
Very easy to adapt to and way cheaper than an ErgoDox or moonlander while essentially being the same thing from an ergonomic standpoint. The alt and space keys should be smaller and for each of them there should be two buttons, same as with the large backspace and normal sized enter-key. But I can appreciate why the design team did it this way and that's why it's really easy to learn the new layout because of that.
Tho, I would like to suggest to at least split the space bars into 4 slimmer keys in the same places, so you could use the keyboard for faster JIS input or even steno. But I can see how that is very specific, tho in my case that's why I'm contemplating getting an ergodox after all.
I lubricated and silenced my Black gateron switches, now it may be the perfect keyboard, even if an AZERTY layout with a big enter key would have been great. Like the light a lot. Good job, Xbows !
Happy with the ergonomic design. I would second trackvegeta's review with providing software to make customizations and macros more user friendly.
