Fourth X-Bows keyboard here, still awesome and with best service.
It doesn't look like much but you can't believe the difference this thing makes.
It's low-key enough to fit in in any office, yet the gains in speed and comfort are palpable.
Proof to me was when I tried to switch to a standard layout and found immediate discomfort and then pain: I hadn't realized what the X-Bows was doing for me until it went away.
Needless to say the standard layout is gone and I ordered an extra X-Bows so that I can mirror my office and home setups. Worth every penny.
PS the left-side number pad is the best of both worlds and the ONLY thing that makes sense.
As a long time sufferer of pain and numbness from keyboarding-while-tense, I have moved through many versions and generations of "ergonomic" keyboards. (Starting with the OG Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro in 1999.)
Imagine my surprise when I went through the short but important learning curve of moving to the X-Bows ortholinear layout, and found out that my issues evaporated immediately and permanently.
As an original backer in 2018, I am a long-term user and can confirm the build quality and general "office appropriate" understated/professional aesthetic of these boards.
The final test was my own foolishness: I became complacent and tried switching back to a standard layout keyboard so that I could share a WFH station with my wife. Imagine my surprise when I found myself flat on the floor with florid RSI from wrist to neck, after many years of not even thinking about it.
Switched back to the X-Bows and within *minutes* the pain began to subside.
I run a Knight Plus at work and a Lite at home, which I will upgrade to a Crystal shortly.
Thank you to X-Bows and Dr. Sig. I can't recommend these enough.
I've been using X-Bow keyboards for years now. Of course, I've looked around for something I liked more...but I always return to my X!
I miss it when I have to use other keyboards
