Why Traditional Keyboards Cause Pain

Your keyboard is based on a 150-year-old design. It wasn't made for you.

Traditional staggered keyboards force your hands into harmful positions, causing Ulnar Deviation (outward wrist-bending) and forcing frequent, unnatural lateral finger movements.

These unnatural postures are scientifically proven to increase pressure inside the carpal tunnel, leading to Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI), pain, numbness, and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

The X-Bows Biomechanical Solution

Dr. Sig designed the X-Bows to fix the root cause, not just the symptoms.

  • Natural Radial Layout:
Our keys are arranged in a fan-shaped arc that matches the natural, radial movement of your fingers. No more unnatural finger stretching.
  • Neutral Wrist Posture:
The fixed-split design keeps your wrists straight, eliminating the harmful ulnar deviation that causes strain.
  • Smarter Workload:
We moved high-frequency keys like Enter, Backspace, and Shift to your thumbs and index fingers - your strongest digits - to give your weaker pinky fingers a rest.

Typing Shouldn’t Hurt

Typing discomfort gets accepted too easily. Wrist tension, numbness, fatigue. A lot of people treat it like part of the job when it should raise a bigger question.

I’m Dr. Sig, and I founded X-Bows because the problem is not just typing itself—it is the physical keyboard layout people repeat for hours every day.

We changed those outdated designs with an anatomical radial-columnar splay, building a health-conscious tool that respects the natural resting angles of your hands. It makes typing feel more natural, less strained, and easier to live with over time.
