Setting up your Nature
The X-Bows Nature is a fully programmable keyboard powered by QMK. You can configure it using one of the three methods below.
⚠️ Required Tool: QMK Toolbox
Regardless of which method you choose, you will likely need QMK Toolbox to flash the firmware onto your keyboard.
Download QMK Toolbox
Method 1: VIA
VIA Configurator
A closed-source GUI that allows you to remap keys in real-time (no need to re-flash after the initial setup).
- Step 1: Download Firmware Download Nature VIA Firmware (.bin)
- Step 2: Flash Firmware Flash the .bin file using QMK Toolbox.
- Step 3: Configure Once flashed, open the configurator (Web or Desktop).
Method 2: VIAL
VIAL Configurator
An open-source alternative to VIA. Supports advanced QMK features like Tap Dance and Combos in the GUI.
- Step 1: Download Firmware Download Nature VIAL Firmware
- Step 2: Flash Firmware Flash the firmware using QMK Toolbox.
- Step 3: Configure Once flashed, open the configurator (Web or Desktop).

The standard developer method. Design layout online, compile firmware, and flash.
